HISTORY OF SCHIEDEL CONSTRUCTION INCORPORATED

In 1949 George Schiedel established Schiedel Concrete and Steel Farm Construction. Hard work, ingenuity, and resourcefulness allowed the company to expand into a handful of employees and it quickly became Schiedel Ltd. In 1951.
1951 Through 1975 saw Schiedel Construction become a leading force in the Waterloo region construction industry by building churches, schools, and medical facilities. Then in 1975 the company became involved in the design-build method of construction which has been very successful for the Schiedel’s business.
Today, Phil Schiedel, Eric Freeman, Zach Schiedel, Allen Schiedel, Seth Schiedel and Fred Schiedel lead a crew of over 45 employees as they embrace new challenges and venture through the 21st century.
